BCLC and TRU present Technology and Innovation Speaker Series: Why You Got Hacked

BCLC and Thompson Rivers University are pleased to present the second installment in the Technology and Innovation Speaker Series, taking place on Thursday, January 28, 2016.

Senior Systems Engineer, Alon Goldberg from Palo Alto Networks will speak to the relationship between computer applications and cyber threats.

Alon specializes in network and security consulting, sales, design, implementation and support. He has extensive experience in deploying security technologies into enterprise and government networks in Canada and is a leading expert on next generation firewall and threat prevention technology.

The presentation will begin at 12:45 p.m. in the Mountain Room at TRU’s Campus Activity Centre. Attendance to the event is free and is open to the public and the media. Lunch will be provided. To RSVP to the event, please contact infosecurity@tru.ca.
