BCLC Seeking Vendors to Replace Lottery Terminals

Today BCLC issued a Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) on BC Bid for vendors that could replace our lottery terminals, including BCLC’s lottery terminal devices, customer self-service terminals, stand-alone ticket checkers, printers and display units – as well as the software needed to manage and operate this hardware.

The Request for Pre-Qualification is the first step in this bid to seek a reliable solution that can be easily integrated, is scalable, robust, maintainable and upgradeable; and will serve the organization, along with BCLC’s players and retailers, for years to come.

The replacement of these lottery terminals is part of BCLC’s plan to sustain BCLC’s lottery business and ensure lottery remains relevant to players.

Only successful proponents who meet the minimum threshold set out for the pre-qualification will be invited to respond to the subsequent phases of the RFPQ.

The bid documents will be released on BC Bid on June 10, 2016 and the opportunity will close June 24, 2016.
