BCLC seeks real estate advisory for Kamloops head office02/05/2016
BCLC has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a real estate advisor in order to determine a long-term solution to improve our head office in Kamloops.
The current head office is over 50 years old and many of its mechanical, electrical and structural components are original to the building. These components are aging and will ultimately need to be replaced.
Given this, BCLC will be seeking the advice of a real estate advisory to help determine the most cost-effective solution for the long-term benefit of our employees and business.
The successful proponent will assist BCLC in a review and planning of our office space requirements in Kamloops. This will include completing a needs assessment and the development of a business case to ultimately determine the most efficient and cost effective solution that will service us in the long-term.
The head office houses our customer support call center, data centre, information technology and finance functions along with a significant portion of our security, human resources and executive team. BCLC also has a marketing and sales office in Vancouver, which it will continue to maintain.
More information about the RFP can be found on BC Bid here.
The RFP will close on May 19, 2016.
