Brian Fear PlayNow Winner

North Vancouver BC/49 Winner To Relive Youth with a New Dream Car

05/02/2018

Brian Fear of North Vancouver has dreamed of owning a muscle car ever since he was 16 years old. He will soon be behind the wheel of one, thanks to his $2 million winning ticket, purchased from PlayNow.com, for the January 27, 2018 BC/49 draw.

“It’s always been a dream of mine, but I never thought a brand new Dodge Challenger could ever be a possibility,” Fear said. “Winning the lottery has been a completely surreal experience and it’s still sinking in.”

In addition to enjoying an earlier retirement with his winnings, Fear also plans to travel more with his wife.

“A trip to Mexico had already been planned, but this win means we will have more ‘fun’ money on the trip to allow us to really enjoy ourselves,” he said.

Launched in 2004, PlayNow.com is the only regulated online gaming website in B.C. offering a full suite of sports betting, lottery and casino games.

BC/49 is a B.C.-only lottery game drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays that gives players a chance to win up to $2 million. BC/49 costs just $1 per selection and tickets are available at a BCLC lottery retailer or on PlayNow.com. Players can now check their lottery tickets anytime, anywhere on iOS and Android devices.

BCLC offers socially responsible gambling entertainment while generating income to benefit all British Columbians. Each year, revenue from gambling contributes more than $1 billion to fund important provincial, municipal and charitable programs across B.C. Play for fun, not to make money.
