Surrey Grandparents to help family with $2 Million BC/49 win24/03/2016
Patricia and David Crawford felt three emotions upon discovering they won the $2 million BC/49 jackpot in the February 24, 2016 draw.
“Disbelief, shock, euphoria and then you return to disbelief,” said David. “It’s really hard to explain to people how you feel. You just don’t believe it!”
As the reality of the win slowly sets in for the grandparents of five, they have one thing on their wish list – helping family!
“We’re mostly happy for our family. We have enough now to help family and extended family,” smiled Patricia.
Their family is in for a big surprise when they gather for their annual Easter dinner.
“There’ll be cheques at our family dinner this weekend,” laughed Patricia. “It will be nice to share the wealth!” ”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Fort Langley Husky.
