Vancouver Man Extra Happy After Winning $500,000

10/07/2018

Rossland McKenna from Vancouver has an extra reason to be smiling this week after discovering he matched 4 out of 4 numbers, to win the Extra prize from the July 2, 2018 Daily Grand draw. This perfect match led him to win a total of $500,000.

“I checked the ticket on the Lotto! App and thought something was wrong. I went online to compare the numbers and I was still having a hard time believing it,” said McKenna. “I was both shocked and excited.”

McKenna is enjoying the feeling of being a winner and taking time to let it all sink in. “I don’t have much free time but, when I do, I enjoy relaxing and taking it easy. I might even go on a trip – I just have to decide where I want to go.”

The Extra win will help McKenna set a path for his future and plan for retirement. “I’m not sure what I will do yet but I’m certainly excited about the possibilities!”

McKenna purchased the winning ticket at Vins Market and Flowers on Slocan Street in Vancouver.
