Victoria lottery winner ‘Extra’ excited to swim with dolphins in Hawaii

Amanda List received an unexpected $500,000 a week before her 23rd birthday when she won the Extra in the March 19, 2016 Lotto 6/49 draw.

“I’m still excited,” exclaimed List. “My birthday is Friday. Once my excitement settles down I’ll get my whole family together for a celebration.”

List has overcome many challenges in her life which makes this lottery win even more special.

“About five years ago I was in a coma for two weeks. When I recovered, my dad told me things would turnaround and my good karma would come back to me,” recalled List. “He was right!”

The first thing List plans to do with her money is go on a shopping and spa excursion with friends.  After that, she’s planning on turning her dreams into realities.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii and swim with the dolphins,” smiled List. “And I want to get VIP tickets to a Nick Jonas concert!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Walmart in Victoria.
