Andrzej Wodja holding big cheque

Burnaby ‘Extra’ Winner Will Rock Out to $500,000 Win

19/03/2018

Andrzej Wojda will soon be rocking out to a very exclusive vinyl record thanks to his $500,000 win off the Extra from the BC/49 draw on March 10, 2018.

“I’ve won a few small prizes in the past, but never anything with so many zeros,” said Wojda. “I had to double check all the numbers just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.”

A huge music fan, Wojda plans to build out his collection of music records, starting with his favourite rock band’s exclusive vinyl record.

“There is a limited edition Leaf Hound vinyl record that has special meaning to me and it has always been something I really wanted. I can’t wait to track down a copy and listen to it.”

Wojda is also excited to celebrate his big win with his wife during a special dinner out.

Wojda purchased the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located on Oak Street in Vancouver.

Every time a lottery ticket is purchased in B.C., it funds programs across the province. Learn more here.
