Geologist strikes grand prize playing Set for Life

21/07/2017

Geologist Warren Walsh of Victoria struck a rock solid prize of $675,000 when he scratched his Set for Life ticket while on vacation.

“I like to buy a couple of Scratch & Win tickets when I start my vacations,” smiled Walsh. “It’s just for fun, but I never thought I’d win the grand prize.”

Needless to say, this will be a vacation to remember. While Walsh doesn’t have big plans yet, he looks forward to paying off his mortgage. “I can’t wait to show up at the bank!” laughed Walsh.

The winning Set for Life ticket was purchased at Log Cabin General Store in Parksville.

Every time a Scratch & Win ticket is purchased in B.C., it funds programs across the province. Learn more here.
