Langley winner likes the sound of being ‘Set for Life’

Gerald Peterson was all smiles when he found out he won a whopping $675,000 playing Set for Life.

“I’ve never won more than $15 before,” smiled Peterson. “So this feels pretty good. I like the sound of being ‘Set for Life’!”

Peterson says the win is right up there with the most significant moments of his life – one he’s proud to show off!

“I had a picture of the ticket on my phone and was showing it to my sister, brothers and people on my ball team,” laughed Peterson. “Everybody is really happy for me.”

The Langley resident plans to use some of his money for a vacation to Hawaii and then invest the rest for the future.

“I’m going to help my children out a bit and also put money away for my grandchildren’s education plan.”

The winning ticket was purchased at the Pharmasave on Marshall Road in Abbotsford.

Every time a lottery ticket is purchased in B.C., it funds programs across the province. Learn more here. Remember, play for fun, not to make money. For more information visit
