More family time for Prince George man after breathtaking Lotto Max win

Patrick Kukko of Prince George knew his family would be excited about his $1 million lottery win but he never could have anticipated the absolute reaction of jubilation he received!

“My mother said it took her breath away,” laughed Kukko. “She fell off the chair when she found out!”

Kukko won a $1 million Maxmillions prize on the December 30, 2016 Lotto Max draw, and says he hasn’t stopped grinning.

Kukko says his big win will allow him to spend more time with his family, which is truly priceless.

“My job takes me away from home a lot,” smiled Kukko. “I’ll retire early so I can be around my kids more.”

As for how Kukko will spend his winnings, he’s thinking about buying a new motorcycle and a new BBQ for himself and a couple of Quads for his kids.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Petro Canada in Blue River.
