As the CFO and Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services, Amanda is responsible for the financial management, procurement, and corporate services of BCLC. Amanda’s commitment to organizational excellence has made her instrumental in transforming BCLC’s finance and corporate services functions to best support the business through a period of rapid change in which BCLC delivered record profits to the Province of B.C.
Amanda serves on the Board of Directors for the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation as well as the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, where she is a valued member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. She is a member of the BC Council of CFOs and plays a leadership role on its Crown Corporations sub-committee. Amanda was recognized as the 2017 CFO of the Year in the Emerging Leader category by Business in Vancouver and CPABC.
Passionate about leadership and talent development, Amanda is a highly respected leader at BCLC. She is a strong advocate for the development and success of women at BCLC through her role in AIM (Acts of Kindness, Inspire, Mentor), a grassroots group that was formed at BCLC to bring a community of women together for professional development, empowerment, and access to senior leadership.
Prior to joining BCLC, Amanda worked in public practice and held various positions in the energy sector, leading financial reporting, treasury, investor relations and other finance functions for public and private companies.
