Samantha Lowe says she practically leaped out of bed when she discovered that she matched six numbers and the bonus from the Lotto Max draw on February 23, 2021 to win $637,354.10.
“I have a routine to wake up and check my e-mails, and I got an e-mail from PlayNow telling me I had won a prize,” says Lowe. “When I logged in, I couldn’t believe it when I saw my balance in the corner of my screen.”
Lowe says she had a hard time initially comprehending the additional $637K in her PlayNow.com account.
“I was yelling and swearing, it was pure shock. I had a huge smile on my face, too. Because as soon as you see that ... how can you not smile?”
The Maple Ridge woman says she hasn’t made any specific plans of what to do with her winnings, but says most of it will go towards paying off some bills.
