Coquitlam Winners

Liezl Panganiban and her husband Edgar Ebreo are pinching themselves after winning $675,000 playing Set for Life recently. Amazingly, this is the second major lottery win in less than a year for the Coquitlam couple who scored $500,000 playing the Extra from the September 26, 2020 Lotto 6/49 Draw.

“We feel really blessed and very thankful to be winners,” Panganiban said.

“It’s a special feeling,” Ebreo added. “I can’t quite describe it.”

Ebreo purchased their ticket at the 7-Eleven on Coast Meridian Road in Port Coquitlam and Panganiban scratched it while they were at home.

“When I saw the three cash symbols, I couldn't believe it, so I showed Edgar,” Panganiban said.

“I started dancing,” Ebreo said.

The second-time grand-prize winners say they are planning a family celebration close to home, once it’s safe to do so. They say they will put their prize towards paying off their mortgage and a future trip to Hawaii – their daughter’s favourite travel destination.
