Sooke Man Does “Happy Dance” after $100K Set for Life Win

Colin Davidson said he broke into a happy dance upon realizing he scored $100,000 from a Set for Life Scratch & Win ticket.

“I remember scratching this ticket…and I remember feeling like it wasn’t true,” Davidson recalled. “I had to look at the back of the ticket to make sure that I wasn’t fooling myself…it feels so surreal!”

Davidson couldn’t wait to tell his partner the good news.

“I asked them to look to make sure it was real and get a new set of eyes to look it over. When we realized we won, we did a happy dance. It was quite an enjoyable afternoon,” he said.

The Sooke resident purchased the ticket from Pharmasave on West Coast Road and says he enjoys playing the lottery for fun. “It’s like a five-minute fantasy where you can dream about what you would do if you won,” Davidson said.

Now that he has won, Davidson plans to put his prize towards home renovations and will invest in his daughter’s education.
