Brian Zolmer couldn’t believe what he was seeing after scratching his Deluxe Crossword Scratch & Win ticket and realizing he had won $75,000.
The Surrey resident purchased and checked the ticket at Soo’s Grocery on 108 Avenue and was at home when he found out the exciting news.
“I was scratching my ticket and went straight back to the store to confirm what I was seeing,” he recalled. “I couldn't believe that I had actually won!”
Zolmer has plans to invest some of his prize and will save the rest for retirement.
