Uma Nair felt dumbstruck after discovering he scored exactly $49,999 from a Royal Riches Scratch & Win ticket.
“I scanned my ticket and gave it to the cashier because I didn’t believe it,” he explained. “I was blown away… I just couldn’t believe it!”
Nair plans to gift his prize to his kids to help them with a down payment on a house.
“I did it!” he exclaimed.
The Surrey resident purchased and checked his ticket at the Circle K convenience store on 200th Street in Langley.
