It was business as usual for Jayson Madarang as he prepared for work, that is, until he learned he won a $1-million Maxmillions prize from the October 18, 2022 Lotto Max draw.
“I was at home and I scanned the ticket, then boom - I was shaking and crying, but then everything had to be normal as I had to go to work,” recalled Madarang.
The Surrey resident plans to take his wife on a vacation to the Philippines to visit family.

“Very thankful, happy and excited! This will change my life in certain ways.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Victoria Drive in Vancouver.
