Adventure awaits Brian Schwemler as he will soon be embarking on a warm vacation or two after winning $500,000 from the Lotto Max draw on September 27, 2022. The Keremeos resident shared a Maxmillions prize with another winner in Langley.
Schwemler was at home when he scanned his ticket on BCLC’s Lotto! App, and discovered that he won big.
“I first thought, ‘wow’,” he recalled of the moment he realized he won. “When I scanned the ticket, I didn’t believe it!”
Schwemler first shared the news with his daughter, who was thrilled for him.
“We showed her the scanned ticket on the app,” he said.
Aside from a couple of vacations to some warm destinations, Schwemler is looking forward to having a bit more financial freedom, thanks to his prize.
On how it feels to win a prize of this amount?
“It’s too hard to describe!”
Schwemler purchased his ticket from the Canco on BC-3A in Keremeos.
