A trip to Europe is in the cards for Brian Coulombe after matching 5/6+ numbers from the November 12, 2022 Lotto 6/49 draw, netting him exactly $248,775.80.
The Golden resident purchased his ticket from the Petro Canada on 1417 North Trans-Canada Highway and was at home when he discovered the win after checking his numbers online.
“Someone on Facebook said there was a winner in Golden, so I checked my numbers and found out I was the winner,” he recalled of the moment he realized he won.
Coulombe first shared the news with his wife and said she was even more excited about his win than he was.
“She was in disbelief and shock! She said she had to check three or four times to confirm the win.”
In addition to a Europe trip, Coulombe is also thinking about purchasing an RV.
