Michelle and Ben Tessarolo have even more reason to celebrate their upcoming 20th anniversary, after winning a $1-million Maxmillions prize from the October 21, 2022 Lotto Max draw.
“We were at home watching TV, and I thought my Lotto! app must have an error and then we double checked our numbers online,” Michelle recalled of how the couple found out it won.
Thanks to their life-changing win, the Tessarolos plan to go on an Alaskan cruise to celebrate their anniversary and hope to buy a lakeside home in the interior to enjoy the outdoors after they retire.
On how it feels to win $1 million?
“Excited! It will better prepare us for retirement and allow us to have some savings.”
The winning ticket was purchased Circle K on 152 Street in Surrey.
