Patricia Weaver and Erin Robertson are especially excited to celebrate the holidays this year after winning $675,000 playing Set for Life.

“I was at home and had to check on my phone to let it sink in,” explained Robertson, whose grandmother, Weaver, was in complete disbelief upon learning they won.

The Lake Cowichan residents are excited to celebrate by taking their family on a trip to Maui.

On how it feels to win?

“Unbelievable. I buy tickets hoping to win, but never expect it to be me,” said Weaver.

The grandmother and granddaughter duo purchased the winning ticket at Walmart on Drinkwater Road in Duncan.

So far in 2022, B.C. lottery players redeemed more than $10 million in Set for Life prizes.

Players can now check their lottery tickets anytime, anywhere on iOS or Android devices. Learn more about the BCLC Lotto! App here.
