It was an eventful morning for Shari Swanson’s family, as she excitedly woke them up upon discovering she scored the top prize of $25,000 from BCLC’s Crossword Scratch & Win game.
“I scanned it on the Lotto! app and discovered it was the top prize of $25,000,” she recalled. “I woke everyone up and they thought something was wrong!”
“It’s exciting… kind of surreal,” she said of how it feels to be a winner.
“I just enjoy playing the Crossword tickets and winning a little bit here and there keeps it exciting.”
The Kamloops resident purchased her ticket from London Drugs on Lansdowne Street.
