Prince George Winner

Colin Turick is one happy camper knowing he will soon be purchasing the motorhome of his dreams after matching 6/6 numbers from the May 14, 2022 BC/49 draw — netting him the top prize of $2-Million.

“This win means I’m able to enjoy my retirement,” he said. “I will purchase a motorhome and my wife and I will travel around the States.”

The Prince George resident purchased and checked his ticket at the North Nechako Food Store on North Nechako Road.

“I checked my ticket at the kiosk and thought, ‘I must be reading this wrong… the machine is broken… something can’t be right!’”

Naturally, he shared the news with his wife right away.

“She was in disbelief,” he exclaimed.

Turick said he has a hard time describing how it feels to be a multi-millionaire.

“I can’t even think of a word… disbelief, I think. I am in shock! This will change my life for sure,” he added.

In 2021, British Columbians won more than $17 million in BC/49 prizes.
