An ordinary tidying of his truck turned out to be anything but for Kyle MacDonald, as he uncovered a BC/49 ticket from the October 8, 2022 draw that ended up netting him a cool $75,000.
“I was sitting in my truck in my driveway trying to clean up some receipts and then when I went to can the ticket I was just like, ’wow, really?’ I thought it was crazy,” he recalled.
MacDonald plans to surprise his kids with an impromptu family vacation, thanks to his prize.
“It’s pretty awesome,” he said.
The Dawson Creek resident purchased his ticket from the Dawson Co-op Bar on 8th Street.
