Harbour City Winner: $5 million 6/49 Ticket Sold in Nanaimo

B.C. is home to another national jackpot winner: A single ticket purchased in Nanaimo matched all six numbers in the Wednesday August 21 Lotto 6/49 draw worth a cool $5 million, the same day that B.C.’s largest-ever lottery prize was claimed.

BCLC will announce the specific retail location in Nanaimo that sold the winning $5-million ticket after the ticket holder visits one of BCLC’s designated prize claim locations. All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize; learn more about how to claim a Lotto prize here.
