Great Food! Great Music! Great Vibes! Midsummer Music Jam is back

Great tunes, food trucks and free ice cream add up to a memorable night out for the family at the Midsummer Music Jam.

On July 26, BCLC and the City of Kamloops are bringing back the special night of entertainment at Music in the Park to benefit the Kamloops Food Bank. This year’s event will be the largest yet and promises a couple new tasty twists.

For the first time ever, Midsummer Music Jam will feature nine of the finest food trucks in Kamloops. Concert goers can indulge their taste buds with cuisine from the city’s most popular food trucks and BCLC will once again be giving away free ice cream treats while quantities last.

Of course, there will be plenty of treats for the ears with some of Canada’s best country music acts. Midsummer Music Jam will be headlined this year by talented B.C. bands ME & MAE and the Chris Buck Band.

The entire community is invited to the free party at Midsummer Music Jam in Riverside Park. Food trucks open their doors at 5 pm, entertainment at 6 pm and the free concert starting at 7 pm. There will be interactive booths with local face painters, the River City Disney Princesses, Kamloops Hula-Hoopers and much more! The Kamloops Food Bank will be on location to collect cash donations and non-perishable food items.

For 31 years, BCLC has delivered more than $19 billion to the B.C. government to support communities, provincial programs and services, charities and major events that have helped shape B.C.

Music in the Park is billed as Canada’s longest-running free music festival in Canada. BCLC’s Midsummer Music Jam and Music in the Park are proudly presented in partnership with the City of Kamloops.
