Hank the Racoon Goes Wild for FIFA World Cup Picks on

Humans aren’t the only ones hoping to make the perfect picks for 2018 FIFA World Cup betting on BCLC has signed the latest animal oracle to pick the World Cup winner as part of its Wild Cup Challenge.

Clever and curious, Hank is a rescued, domesticated racoon with a discerning appetite. With such a versatile palate, asked Hank to pick his World Cup bracket after the group stage and based on which of the 16 competing nations’ food he liked best.

Although a rookie showman, Hank worked diligently through each pairing, taking in the array of aromas attached to every decision. In the end, his senses lead him to land of fish and chips – England – to win the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Hank picked his share of upsets, and certainly did not hold back in doing so. On, England's odds to win the World Cup currently stand at 15/1, but Hank clearly felt they could knock off Brazil - the favourites at 37/10 odds to claim their first championship since 1966.

The FIFA World Cup is just days away and football fans around the world are gearing up for a month of high stakes. Millions of fans across the world will be making their own predictions, and some will even place wagers and bets.

British Columbians have the opportunity to join in on the action and make their selections for the Wild Cup Challenge. The top scoring bracket will be eligible to win $5,000. Players must be 19 years or older to play. Registered players can also make bets on the World Cup at
