March, April or May? B.C. bettors can wager on Prince Harry’s wedding

Now that we know it’s happening, the question remains when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot. Bettors in B.C. can get in on the royal wedding speculation by wagering on which month the wedding will take place through

So far, royal officials have said it will be a spring wedding but didn’t give an exact date. On PlayNow, May 2018 is the betting favourite with 11/50 odds. That means a $10 bet would return $12.20 if the royal nuptials happens in May. March and April 2018 are tied with 23/5 odds, with a $10 wager returning $56 if the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchange vows during one of those months.

More Royal wedding bets:

In addition to the timing of the wedding, there are a host of royal wedding novelty bets available on PlayNow. Bettors can bet on things like:

  • the location of the wedding (Windsor Castle currently has the best odds to host the wedding at 1/25 while Toronto has 19/1 odds)
  • where Prince Harry will go on his stag
  • who will be the best man
  • who will design the wedding dress
  • the wedding’s guest list
  • who will perform at the wedding

The upcoming wedding isn’t the only thing royal watchers in B.C. can wager on through PlayNow. Bettors can also bet on events related to Will and Kate’s third child that is due in April 2018. For example, bettors can wager on the sex and name of the royal baby, whether the child will have ginger hair and the first world leader to kiss the baby.
