$500,000 win 13 times the fun for colleagues from Quesnel

If you thought winning the lottery would be a thrilling experience, Dwayne McKerlie of Quesnel will tell you it’s even better winning with a group of friends.

McKerlie along with twelve of his colleagues, who work in health care, won a $500,000 Maxmillions prize on the January 27, 2016 Lotto Max draw. The group shared the prize with another ticket purchased in the Prairies.

“The best part is that it’s 13 times the fun winning as a group,” exclaimed McKerlie. “We have shared hugs and laughter as friends and now we can share our dreams too with the win!”

With such a big group the list of dreams goes on and on.

“A lot of us are talking about paying off debts, new homes, renovations and vacations,” smiled McKerlie. “Whatever we end up doing we’re going to share those memories with each other!”

The group plans to continue playing the lottery together as this winning experience has brought them even closer together.

The winning ticket was purchased at Frank’s Supermarket in Quesnel.
