Best Stocking Stuffer Ever: Vancouver Resident Scores $675,000 from Set for Life

It was an especially merry Christmas for Katherine Mundy after she received a winning Set for Life ticket in her stocking, netting her the top prize of $675,000.

“It was a gift from my dad,” recalled Mundy. “I took the tickets back home and was sitting with my dog in my lap and decided to scratch them. The Set for Life ticket was the last ticket I scratched, and I was shocked when I saw I won.” 

After using the BCLC Lotto! App to verify her win, the Vancouver resident shared the news with her husband. “At first, he didn’t believe me! We were both so excited. I also shared the news with my dad, and he was very happy – so happy!” 

Mundy is planning a trip to New York City to celebrate.
