BCLC and The City of Kamloops are proud to present another great season of Music in the Park July 1–August 31, 2023. This signature summer classic has been a part of Kamloops’ cultural and entertainment scene since 1994.

Music in the Park continues the tradition of providing residents and tourists with free evening performances that are suitable for all family members and showcase various talented artists from Kamloops and across Canada. The season kicks off on July 1 with performances by Anita Hamilton, The Eh Team and Serious Dogs.

Performances begin at 7:00 pm every night at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside Park. In addition to performances, food trucks are anticipated to be on site throughout the summer.

“BCLC is thrilled to partner with the City of Kamloops once again to present this beloved community event,” said Pat Davis, BCLC President and CEO. “For more than 29 years, BCLC has been proudly sponsoring Music in the Park—an event that has become an embodiment of the vibrant community culture in Kamloops—and we’re proud to bring people together again this summer to enjoy the talented musical lineup.”

The Kamloops Food Bank will be on site for two special evenings to accept non-perishable donations to give back to those in the community who are in need. Residents are encouraged to bring a donation on July 19 for the annual BCLC Midsummer Music Jam and on August 31, the last performance of the season.

“We are so grateful to have BCLC as a community partner to support this long-standing signature event,” said Sean Smith, the City’s Business Operations and Events Supervisor. “Both of our organizations take pride in being able to bring this family event to residents and tourists every year. It’s a platform to showcase local, regional, and national talent in an environment that celebrates community.”
