Bring on the sun! Once again, BCLC will be on the road this summer, supporting popular local events that foster shared moments of entertainment and connection.
From May to September, BCLC will join festivalgoers at more than 20 community events in 16 communities across the province to offer a fun and welcoming space under the BCLC tent.
“Supporting these much-loved local events is one of the highlights of our year,” said Lara Gerrits, Director of Social Purpose, Partnerships and Engagement. “Supporting community has been a part of BCLC’s DNA for the past 40 years. As an entertainment company, we’re always looking for ways to bring people together to help them feel part of something bigger than themselves. Supporting events that bring together individuals, families, friends and neighbours, in support of their wider community, is a definite win-win for the greater good.”
BCLC will also be supporting locally owned and run businesses in several of the communities by purchasing sustainable swag and vouchers give aways that encourage festivalgoers to support a local business while also connecting with a friend, loved one or community member.
