The Alouette River Management Society in Maple Ridge offers important environmental education for kids and the community as well as initiatives to preserve the watershed and stream ecology of the area. A $52,000 Community Gaming Grant in 2016 helped ensure the organization would be able continue their mission of instilling waterway health on both public and private land.
