In 2018, the City of Nanaimo received $2.8 million for hosting Chances Nanaimo to fund local projects and initiatives. The Nanaimo Arts Council was just one recipient that continues to inspire and support the community with exhibitions, programs and advocacy.
The annual Victoria Symphony Splash, featuring music from the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, is another flagship event proudly supported by BCLC.
