Mission Skatepark

Thanks to players at Chances Mission, a new skate park is bringing youth together like never before in the District of Mission. After a young skateboarder from Mission asked for a new skate park in 2014, Council and Staff embarked on a community engagement program to design the project. Working with Newline Skate parks, the new park opened in July 2016 and is now used by hundreds of young skaters every week.

The District of Mission used a portion of its share of provincial gaming revenue for hosting Chances Mission to fund the skate park project.
