As a team of dedicated volunteers, Nanaimo Search and Rescue strives to develop and maintain the skills necessary to better serve the public and ensure the safety of its members while performing SAR tasks. In 2018, Casino Nanaimo presented Nanaimo Search and Rescue with two cheques for more than $9,700 to support its important role in keeping the community safe.
