Parq Vancouver

Parq Vancouver has an inclusive employment program and has followed through on its commitment to hire at least 10 percent of its employees from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and neighbouring communities. As of 2016, 174 out of 795 employees were hired as part of the inclusive employment program. Parq also recognizes the importance of supporting the local economy, which is why they buy at least 10 percent of all goods and services locally, spending a whopping $10.5 million in their own backyard on building supplies, furniture, cleaning, maintenance, and more.
