Richmond Sharing Farm

The City of Richmond allocated $32,000 from provincial gaming funds for the Richmond Sharing Farm’s tractor purchase. Located within the City’s Terra Nova rural park, the city grants space free of charge to the society which has more than a 1,000 volunteers who grow fresh produce that’s donated to the Richmond Food Bank. Since its inception, the farm has grown and donated more than 200,000 tonnes of produce with more than 600 families a week benefitting from it.
