The goal of the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor Overpasses project was to improve the safety and flow of vehicle traffic, relieving congestion along the 200 Street corridors. The cost of the project was $8.5 million, of which $3.7 million was funded by Langley's share of casino revenue as the host local government for Cascades Casino Langley. The project was designed to improve safety and traffic flows through construction of three new rail overpasses along the western edge of the city.
