With the goal of shifting misconceptions and decreasing homelessness, the Stone Soup Society affects change in the community through education and collaboration. By working with various community groups, it helps people in need find secure housing and the resources to remain successfully in their new home. The District of Mission supports this initiative by allocating a portion of its share of provincial gaming revenue generated at Chances Mission.
