World Para Nordic Skiing Championships

The City of Prince George allocated a portion of its share of provincial gaming revenue to support the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships in Prince George. Held every two years in locations around the world, the event celebrates the best para nordic skiers from across the globe. Well over 100 athletes, plus many coaches, officials and thousands of visitors attended the 10-day event in Prince George, in which top athletes competed in cross-country skiing and biathlon.
