A Celebratory Steak Dinner for Princeton Resident After Scoring $500K Daily Grand Prize

Howard Parfitt can’t wait to indulge in a delicious steak meal after scoring an even juicer prize of $500,000 from the July 8, 2024 Daily Grand draw. 

The Princeton resident was at the Petro Canada on Bridge Street — the same location where he purchased the ticket — when he discovered the news of his win.

“I thought, ‘No way!’ and went home to double check the numbers online.”

Parfitt first shared the news with his friend, who was in disbelief and thought he was “yanking her chain”. 

In addition to the celebratory steak dinner, Parfitt plans to invest the majority of his winnings and looks forward to the overall sense of “relief” that this win will provide.
