Abbotsford Resident to Travel to Dubai After Scoring $500K from Daily Grand

There is more family travel in the cards for Mezhgan Azmudin after winning $500,000 from the January 15, 2024 Daily Grand draw. 

“I was at home and decided to check my tickets on [the BCLC Lotto! App],” recalled Azmudin. “Some were $1 and free plays and I thought one said $25,000.” 

Just to be sure, Azmudin went back to the same Chevron gas station on South Fraser Way and Janzen Street in Abbotsford where she purchased the ticket and learned she actually won $500,000.

The Abbotsford resident was excited to share the news with her brother and friends. “They are very excited!” 

Azmudin plans to invite her family from out of town to visit and will use a part of her prize to take her children to visit Dubai. 

On how it feels to win? 

“It feels good! I am happy, especially being able to bring my parents here.”
