Supporting community initiatives

In 2023, the City of Mission utilized funds from hosting Chances Mission to support various infrastructure and transportation upgrades.

Gambling revenue enhanced Leisure Centre amenities, including the pool, weight room, and fitness equipment. Public transportation improvements included upgraded bus shelters and stops. Additionally, downtown façade maintenance and new public art were funded by this revenue.

MissionFest

In August 2023, BCLC sponsored MissionFest 2023, an iconic community festival in the downtown core which celebrates the vibrant city of Mission through fun, family-friendly activities, entertaining music and performances, local food trucks and its famous 300-foot zipline stationed down an entire block on Main Street.
