BCLC delivered a record-breaking net income of $1.636 billion last fiscal year, of which $1.624 billion was delivered to the Province of B.C. and $12 million to the federal government, as outlined in its 2022/23 Annual Service Plan Report.

The increase in net income is due in part to the opening of the new Cascades Casino Delta, Lotto 6/49 game enhancements, continued high Lotto Max jackpot roll patterns and the expansion of PlayNow.com to a third Canadian province.
Fiscal year 2022/23 exceeds the previous net-income record set in fiscal year 2018/19 by $220 million.
BCLC is required to disclose annually all compensation provided to the CEO and the next four highest paid executives. BCLC’s 2022/23 Statement of Executive Compensation is also available on the Public Sector Employer’s Council Secretariat website. BCLC annually discloses all compensation provided to the CEO and the next four highest paid executives.
BCLC also proactively discloses commissions paid to its casino, community gaming centre and bingo service providers. The 2022/23 Service Provide Commissions report is available on bclc.com.
Under the Gaming Control Act BCLC’s mandate is to conduct and manage commercial gambling on behalf of the provincial government. BCLC is the only legal provider of commercial gambling in B.C.
