BCLC is proud to announce a new collaboration with GenWell, as part of its commitment to bringing its social purpose to life by promoting human connection.
GenWell is a registered Canadian charity that provides education, empowerment, and inspiration to create a more connected Canada.
BCLC is working with GenWell as it works to find new ways to embed opportunities for human connection across the organization, including in its partnerships, community initiatives and employee programs, through its social purpose-driven ‘BCLC Human Connection Project’.

This year, we decided to use our presence in communities across B.C. to focus our social purpose, which is to generate win-wins for the greater good. We’re excited to work with GenWell to help BCLC and communities raise awareness of the importance of human connection and how we can embed it in the work we do.”
BCLC will engage GenWell to support the Human Connection Project with research gathering, resource development and project planning and activation.
Through the project, BCLC will be engaging players, public, partners and communities through a variety of initiatives – from education to events – designed to foster connection. While the project’s work spans the province, BCLC is celebrating its launch in Kamloops – its hometown for 40 years – before expanding to additional B.C. communities.
