As the Royal Canadian Legion marks its 100-year anniversary, BCLC is proud to stand alongside this organization whose legacy of service, remembrance and community support has made a lasting impact across our province and country.
In partnership with the BC/Yukon Command, on June 15, BCLC launched the Legion-themed and branded “At Your Service” Pull Tab to help build awareness, generate funding and encourage broader community support for the Legion network during this milestone anniversary. The product will help bring the Legion’s story to new audiences while celebrating the important role it continues to play in the places we call home.
BCLC exists to generate win-wins for the greater good and believes in the power of connection — whether through the excitement of play, a shared commitment to giving back, or the knowledge that net income generated by our games and products go back to the provincial government to support vital programs and services that help strengthen our communities. That purpose is also reflected in partnerships like this one, which will help bring people together around shared values of service, care and community impact.
“The BC/Yukon Command of the Royal Canadian Legion is a long-standing retail partner of BCLC,” said Dan Beebe, Chief Operating Officer, BCLC. “Our partnership goes back to when our organization was still part of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), and it remains strong because of shared commitment to creating positive impacts and enduring community support. We are thrilled to collaborate on this new pull-tab to recognize the Legion’s one hundred years of service in our province.”
