“Did I Really Win That?”: Kamloops Resident Scores $500K Lotto 6/49 Extra Prize

Noel Park couldn’t stop asking himself “Did I really win that?” upon discovering that he matched 4/4 Extra numbers from the August 28, 2024 Lotto 6/49 draw, netting him $500,000.  

“I did not believe it,” Park said of his reaction to the win, after he checked BCLC’s Lotto! App while at home. “I just kept repeating the amount that I won.”

Once the reality of the win began to sink in, Park shared the news with his best friend.

“She did not believe me and still doesn’t!”

The Kamloops resident is “still in shock” over his half of a million-dollar win but looks forward to helping out his kids before retiring in the near future. He may also purchase a new truck, thanks to his prize.

“It still doesn’t seem real somehow… maybe it will hit me later and I will pass out,” he joked. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Canco on Tranquille Road in Kamloops.
