“This Can’t be Real!”: Burnaby Resident Wins $25,000 Prize from Concert of a Lifetime Scratch & Win

Peggy Nagy was in complete disbelief, after discovering she won a Top Prize of $25,000 from BCLC’s Concert of a Lifetime Scratch & Win ticket. 

“I was waiting for my husband,” recalled Nagy. “The first thought that came to mind was, ‘This can’t be real!’” 

The Burnaby resident purchased her ticket because she was excited at the opportunity to win the Grand Prize – a suite at BC Place for her and 13 guests at one of the biggest concerts of the year. 

With 9 Top Prize tickets remaining, players across B.C. still have the chance to win and participate in the Grand Prize draw.  

“I wanted to win for my co-workers who are my family. I just wanted to celebrate and thought the concert is an amazing way to do that!” 

With her Top Prize win of $25,000, Nagy plans to put some of it aside in savings and is planning a trip to celebrate her husband’s birthday. 

The winning ticket was purchased from the Chevron Town Pantry on 152  Street and 105 Avenue in Surrey.
